All these characteristics make the P08F1-85 a filter particularly suitable for competitions, but the special Sprint Filter technology also makes it usable on the most sophisticated latest generation 600 and 1000 super sports cars, even standard ones which in most cases do not need to adjust the carburetion through special ECU mappings or additional ECUs.
However, their use allows you to take advantage of 100% of the potential of this technological jewel.
Sprint Filter PF1-85 is also a particularly practical air filter with a maintenance time of just a few seconds. Simply remove the air filter from the filter box, clean it with compressed air and reinsert it without waiting for downtime. No washing treatment or oiling is needed to hold the dust! Our air filter works "dry". If it is particularly dirty it is possible to use any detergent at hand, wash it and dry it with compressed air, without heat sources.
The constant and long-lasting quantity of the air/fuel mixture allows the electronic control unit to adjust it according to the correct stoichiometric ratio. A greater air flow will allow, following the intervention of the electronic control unit, a lower fuel consumption. This means that the P08 Sprint Filter air filter allows, for the same performance, to consume less fuel.
