Dat kan toch geen toeval zijn. In het vorige nummer stond de Nebbiolo d’Alba van dit wijnhuis in deze rubriek, nu de Barbera D’Alba. Dat zegt veel over de kwaliteit, en uiteraard ook over de prijs, want in deze rubriek komen alleen de wijnen met de beste prijs voor hun score. En dat geldt zeker voor deze lekkere Barbera. Hij is krachtig, gemaakt op het fruit, met een korte gisting op roestvrij staal. De aanduiding ‘Superiore’ vereist houtrijping, in dit geval vier maanden op grote houten foeders van Frans eiken, om het fruit te respecteren.


Dogliani il Generale produceert al vijf generaties wijn in Langhe, een gebied in Piemonte. Vakmanschap en kennis van de grondstof is de inspiratie voor de kijk die Dogliani il Generale heeft op innovatie. Dit is de identiteit die Dogliani il Generale aan elke fles meegeeft!
