Een Sancerre wijn op haar allerbeste

Verantwoordelijk voor deze magnifieke Sancerre is Andre Neveu, een zeer getalenteerde wijnmaker, welke opereert in misschien wel het mooiste wijngebied van Frankrijk: de Loire. Talloze toonaangevende wijnen komen uit deze streek, echter blijft de Sancerre misschien wel de bekendste. En als je het ons vraagt de lekkerste. De wijngaarden van Andre Neveu liggen in het hart van de Loire en blinken op alle fronten uit ten opzichte van de collega wijnboeren. Wat is nou zo speciaal aan de wijngaarden van Andre Neveu in de oogverblindende Sancerre. Dat zijn voornamelijk de Silex gronden in combinatie met kalksteen. Een unieke combinatie, die een hoog mineraal gehalte geeft aan de Sancerre wijn. Het laat deze Sancerre Les Longues Fins evolueren in je glas. Deze witte wijn wordt gefermenteerd op roestvrijstalen tanks, dit om het verfrissende en verfijnde karakter van de Sauvignon Blanc intact te houden.

Andre Neveu Sancerre Les Longues Fins is een echte uitblinker. Een perfecte prijs kwaliteit verhouding waar menig witte wijn niet bij in de buurt komt. Het palet is breed en je zintuigen worden ontzettend verwend door fenomenale aroma’s. Je ruikt citrus, peper en gestoofd fruit. Een zwoele toets van rabarber zorgt voor een glinmlach. De smaak is rond en vol, maar wel met verfrissende en verkwikkende tonen. Ideaal bij zeebaars, maar nog beter bij geitenkaas. Purchased this for our trip to Mexico. At two cruise ports we were doing a combination snorkel and pool day. I got this sunscreen because it was reef friendly and came with two bottles. Both bottles were IMPOSSIBLE to spray. You could not sunscreen yourself because you had to hold the bottle just right, push down with extreme force, and have your fingers place very specifically on the lid. My 13 year old and husband couldn’t even use the bottles. I did figure it out so I had to continually sunscreen everyone in the family. No one in my family has sensitive skin, but we all ended up with a fine rash after using this sunscreen. On days prior we used another brand and no one had a problem. We also reapplied often (every 60-90 min) and we still got pretty burnt. Maybe we got a bad batch…
