De UPF 50+ uv laag zit in de stof geweven en beschadigd niet, geen plastic binnenlaag in dit hoedje. De stof  is absorberend, voelt zacht aan en is sneldrogend. De zachte touwtjes houden het hoedje goed op het hoofd.

Gebruik het zonnehoedje in combinatie met een uv werend t-shirt en zwembroek om tegen de zon beschermd te zijn. De beschermingsfactor UPF50+ zorgt voor de kwetsbare huid in en om het water.
