Het AC7048 Triple 4K Monitor Docking Station maakt een compleet werkstation van je Windows laptop of MacBook door het aansluiten van één USB-C-kabel. Met de DisplayLink®-technologie kunnen zowel Windows als Apple computers worden uitgebreid met maximaal drie 4K schermen. Het docking station is uitgerust met een Gigabit LAN-poort, 5 USB-poorten, 1 USB-C-poort en microfoon- en hoofdtelefoonaansluiting. Het dockingstation wordt geleverd met een 135W stroomadapter. Deze stroomadapter voorziet de AC7048 van stroom en laadt de aangesloten laptop met maximaal 100W op. Het ACT USB-C Triple 4K Docking Station voldoet aan alle voorwaarden van het DisplayLink Certified Logo Program.

Dit dockingstation biedt het complete pakket aan voor het veranderen van de laptop in een compleet werkstation door het aansluiten van één USB-C-kabel op de laptop. Sluit tot drie* 4K monitoren (max. resolutie 4096x2160p @ 60Hz) aan op de HDMI- of DisplayPort-poorten. Het docking station is uitgerust met een Gigabit LAN netwerkpoort, een microfoonaansluiting en een hoofdtelefoonaansluiting. De AC7048 voegt 6 extra USB-poorten toe aan de laptop: vijf USB-A-poorten en een USB-C-poort.

Het AC7048 docking station heeft een geïntegreerde DisplayLink® chip. Het bureaublad van de computer kan worden uitgebreid met maximaal drie extra schermen. In totaal zijn er 4 verschillende views: 1x laptop, 3x monitor. De DisplayLink® technologie werkt met iedere Windows of MacOS computer met USB-C-ondersteuning.
De DisplayLink® technologie biedt een stabiele oplossing voor het uitbreiden van de laptop door gebruik te maken van een chipset.
Laad de laptop met max. 100W op via het dockingstation
Het docking station wordt geleverd met een 135W stroomadapter. De stroomadapter voedt het docking station zelf en kan daarnaast nog de aansloten laptop opladen met maximaal 100W. Het is niet nodig om nog een aparte laptopvoeding aan te sluiten. De laptop wordt opgeladen via de USB-C-aansluitkabel. Daarom is het wel van belang dat de laptop het laden via USB-C ondersteunt.
Extra functies
Gebruik de aan/uit-knop op de AC7048 voor het in één keer in- of uitschakelen van het dockingstation en alle aangesloten randapparatuur. De USB-C/A-poorten zijn allemaal USB 3.2 Gen1 datapoorten met een maximale overdrachtssnelheid van 5Gbps. Sluit USB-randapparatuur aan of laad een laptop of tablet op. Verder is het mogelijk om een microfoon en hoofdtelefoon aan te sluiten op de 3,5mm audiopoorten. De AC7048 wordt geleverd met een USB-C naar USB-A-adapter. Hierdoor kan het docking station worden gebruikt met een laptop die alleen een USB-A-poort heeft. Houd er dan rekening mee dat de Power Delivery passthrough-functie niet werkt in combinatie met USB-A. De laptop heeft een aparte stroomadapter nodig. Daarnaast ondersteunt USB-A het aansluiten tot twee monitoren.
* De USB-C laptop moet DP Alt Mode ondersteunen wanneer een derde monitor wordt aangesloten.

Outstanding, top of the line diaper!

We normally use Huggies Little Movers with our 3.5 year old (nothing against them, they're also great diapers) but recently decided to give Swaddlers a try, and will not be going back. This is a top-of-the-line diaper and excels in all ways.
We use a size 7 though could *probably* get away with a size 6, and use about 4-5 diapers a day on average (not including his overnight diaper) depending on how much he's had to drink and how often he poops -usually once a day, but could be as many as 3 times, especially if he doesn't go one day.
The first thing you notice about these diapers is how soft they are. I mean, they just feel like they would be comfortable on a child, and since they're in them practically 24/7, that's important. The diaper is mostly white, and the overall designs are more muted than a lot of other diapers, with "Shilo and Friends" -an elephant and duck - on the front and back. I personally wouldn't mind something bolder, I don't think my child cares or even notices. There is a wetness indicator that goes down the length of the diaper, front and back. Nice to have I suppose for a caregiver who maybe doesn't change a lot of diapers, but at this age and stage, it's easy to know and tell. Like all Pampers diapers, they are scented. I happen to love the gentle powder-like scent, but it's a turn-off to some who describe it as too strong, and of course, if your child is sensitive to that, you may want to avoid Pampers diapers.
Inside, the top sheet liner keeps his skin dry, even when he wets heavily -which is usually - and does a good job of keeping poop from sticking to his bottom. The "blowout barrier" in the back also helps contain any messes. In terms of absorbency, I'm pretty amazed at how much they can hold. Being a little older, he tends to stay drier for longer periods and then pee a larger amount at one time, but the diaper almost always holds it in, and leaks are rare.
The one thing I wish that Pampers did do was have wider tapes, like Huggies, at least on the larger sizes, where kids are more active. It hasn't been a problem, so I don't really have a reason for saying that, other than that it seems like it would help with fit, but it certainly won't keep me from buying or using them in the future.

History of Egypt
Format: Kindle
Egypt has played a vital role throughout history. This book traces and evaluates the history of Egypt from ancient times until the modern period. During ancient times, the Pharaohs created a strong Egypt. During the Ottoman times, Egypt played a significant role as a regional power. Both French and British played a vital role in Egyptian politics. The Suez canal put Egypt, an important player in world commerce. The Nasser regime entered Egypt into cold world politics. The USA managed under Sadat to place Egypt at the American camp. Eventually, Egypt was the first Arab country to sign a peace treaty with Israel after various brutal wars. Egyptian culture dominated western civilization throughout the centuries. The reader will enjoy this book.

Great summary of Egyptian history
Format: Kindle
The book is—as the subtitle states—an “Overview of Egyptian History.” The book is a brief summary of Egypt’s long and interesting history. It starts with historical events: who were the rulers? What territories did Egypt conquer? Who conquered Egypt. The second part of the book discusses social, economic, and religious history.
This primer lays out all of the above topics but with little detail so the reader may wish to select topics of interest to study in further depth elsewhere. Because Egypt’s history includes millennia, I find it hard to understand, so reading this book was valuable to me.
The book is written in a style that makes it easy to read. It is not at all dry as some textbooks can be.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants an overview of Egyptian history and look forward to reading other books in the series.
