De Rhododendron hybride 'Roseum Elegans' is een groenblijvende heester. Net als bij alle andere groenblijvende haagplanten blijft het blad dus altijd netjes hangen, hoe koud het buiten ook is. Deze heester is erg mooi als haagplant of borderplant.

Groenblijvende heester voor een onderhoudsarme haag

De rhododendron Roseum Elegans is een groenblijvende heester waaraan in het voorjaar schitterende roze bloemen groeien. Ideaal dus om jouw tuin van wat extra kleur te voorzien! Tip: combineer met andere rhododendronsoorten voor nog meer kleur, bijvoorbeeld met de rhododendron Horizon Monarch met gele bloemen of de rhododendron Moser’s Maroon met rode bloemen.

Deze groenblijvende heester is erg geschikt om een onderhoudsarme haag mee te maken. De groeisnelheid is namelijk erg laag, zo’n 10 tot 20 cm. per jaar en je hoeft de haag dan ook nauwelijks te snoeien. Eventueel eens per jaar is voldoende als je de haag niet te groot wilt laten groeien. De maximale hoogte van de plant is 1,50 tot 2,50 meter, afhankelijk van de standplaats. Verder is de rhododendron Roseum Elegans zeer winterhard (tot ongeveer -28°C) en staat graag in een zure, humusrijke en waterdoorlatende grond.

Nice sandal that works well for me, feet sit comfortably in the shoes. I’m a quadriplegic that needs someone to wrestle my legs while putting my shoes on for me. These go on fairly easily. I have short legs and the extra height of the sandals helps to reduce the pressure on the back of my legs while my feet are on the legrests. Also my ankles tend to buckle and cause my feet and shoes to roll over onto the side of my foot. The soles of the UGG Goldenglow are wide and flat, substantially reducing this tendency. As far as comfort and function while walking, I can’t speak to that.

One of the sides was completely unattached and within 30 minutes they were only on my foot by one strap. Super disappointed!! But I loved them enough that I ordered another pair to get me through until boot weather.
