Bodega Menade is de eerste wijnmakerij in de regio Rueda die biologische wijnen produceert. Drie jonge broers en zussen uit de bekende Sanz-wijndynastie produceren sinds 2005 voornamelijk witte wijnen van de inheemse Verdejo-variëteit op 50 hectare. 45 hectare van de 50 hectare wordt ermee beplant. De expressieve, aromatische Verdejo-variëteit doet enigszins denken aan Sauvignon Blanc, zonder zijn eigen tonen op te geven. Inmiddels is Rueda naast Rias Baixas uitgegroeid tot het meest interessante witte wijngebied van Spanje. De bodems, rijkelijk bedekt met grind, op 600 tot 800 meter, zijn ideaal voor het kweken van witte wijnstokken.2 jaar flesrijping voor Menade La Mision
De oogst wordt handmatig uitgevoerd en wanneer de clusters de wijnmakerij bereiken, worden ze heel geperst. De most fermenteert met inheemse gisten in roestvrijstalen tanks. De resulterende wijn rijpt ongeveer 10 maanden verdeeld over Franse eikenhouten vaten van 500 liter, in tanks van 5.000 en 10.000 liter en in potten van verschillende grootte die gedeeltelijk zijn gemaakt met klei van de Menade-landgoederen, en zo werd het meteen aan het begin gedaan. Na het rijpen blijft de wijn van La Misión de Menade minimaal twee jaar in de fles voordat hij wordt verkocht. Deze witte wijn heeft een complex aroma met een overvloed aan ingetogen fruit en kruiden. We noteren ook een vleugje zoete appel en eiken. Really like these cotton rounds

I do like these cotton rounds. They hold up and work well to remove make up and clean my skin in between actually washing my face. They are soft but strong and a good size for makeup removal. These are much nicer than the ones I bought previously that shed on my skin. They are somewhat thick and seem to have a decent cotton content.

Clears breakout without playing around

This face wash means business. It lathers up nicely and you can actually feel it working on your skin. After a few uses, my breakouts looked calmer and less angry, and my skin felt way cleaner overall.
It can be a little drying if you overdo it, so moisturizer is a must, but if you’re dealing with stubborn acne, this one gets straight to the point. No fluff, just results.

Gave me hope again for my back acne

I’ve been struggling with acne on my back since I was a teen and I’m now in my 30s and still struggling. I had taken accutane (several times) and it was the only thing that has cleared me but it always came back. I decided that I’m not gonna risk potentially hurting myself over that medication again and consistently (no matter if I didn’t feel like it!) started washing my back with this every night (even if I didn’t wash my hair). I would leave it on for at least 5 minutes and then rinse it off, then moisturize. After a month this has been the CLOSEST to clear my skin has ever gotten besides accutane. I’ve tried virtually everything. I was honestly surprised, and although it’s not perfectly clear, it’s made a significantttttt difference. It’s worth a try if you plan to be serious about it. I wish I would have taken a before picture, I just didn’t have high expectations at first!!

Can do wonders but also can completely strip your healthy skin barrier

Awesome product ONLY IF YOU HAVE SEVERE BREAKOUTS AND OILY SKIN. STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE SLIGHTLY DRY SKIN AND/OR MINOR BREAKOUTS- not worth the risk.
I used it for back acne and it really helped. DO NOT MIX WITH OTHER ACNE PRODUCTS.
But HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE WARNING!!!!!——
This is NOT a great play for your face or truly anyone who doesn’t have severe acne and oily skin. Yes, it eliminates acne. If your face is extremely oil and acne prone, every few days would be fine.
I, myself, always thought my face was a mix of oily and dry- but I had a lot of hormonal acne from birth control. At first, I would use this every few days (every other, every 3, depending), and I noticed it improving my facial acne as well. I used it for 3+ months. THEN *TRIGGER WARNING* I suddenly one day broke out in HIVES. It completely STRIPS YOUR SKIN BARRIER IF YOU OVERUSE IT OR IF YOUR SKIN IS NOT SEVERELY BROKEN OUT. Red, swollen, bumps, all over my face for a week straight. My face burned so bad I couldn’t even cry it hurt. I couldn’t sleep good. Couldn’t touch my face. Couldn’t even put on moisturizer. Not even an ice pack helped. I had to stop hot showers and every single facial product/makeup for multiple weeks to heal my face. I noticed after I stopped using it, it almost made my acne better on my face- like it truly did strip my skin barrier. I will no longer be putting this on my face UNLESS I have severe acne breakouts, and if that is the case it would be a ONE TIME use. I also DO NOT use it everyday on my back or chest, it’s more of an every other- every few days type of deal.
BE ADVISED- does the job, but can also make things worse.
