Jacob Kuijper was een bekende aardrijkskundige en cartograaf in de jaren vijftig, zestig en zeventig van de 19e eeuw. Hij heeft in de jaren 1865-1870, verreweg het merendeel in 1865-1867, alle toenmalige Nederlandse gemeenten in kaart gebracht. De gemeentekaartjes zijn dan ook vooral bekend onder de noemer Kuyperkaartjes. Kuijper was mede-oprichter van het Koninklijk Nederlands Aardrijkskundig Genootschap (KNAG).

These are very nice quality and durable. I purchased this for my daughter's friend. it is really nice with birth stone and initial, perfect for gift. Perfect chain length and clasp nicely. It does not look cheap, but also affordable. It came with small card you can write, which is really nice touch. It also came with beautiful box. Again, it is super nice gift for any occasion.
