TONOPORT™ VI

The TONOPORT™ VI is one of the most advanced long-term blood pressure monitors in medical technology from GE Medical Systems / GE Healthcare. The long-term blood pressure monitor reliably provides validated ABD readings and analyses. The blood pressure is measured either at predefined intervals or at random times.

Another advantage is the easy-to-read digital display. The individual values or blood pressure measurement results can be easily called up and read via this monitor. The device for long-term blood pressure measurement is easy to programme via the user-friendly display and has programming options for manual switching to day and night phases - in one clear picture.

Recorded data is easily downloaded and reported via the CardioSoft Cardiac Testing System (part of the CardioSoft software). Please Note: the TONOPORT™ VI  is optionally available with or without CardioSoft software.

The comprehensive reports include up to 72-hour blood pressure trends, averages and statistics for day and night. In addition, data can be easily imported into EMR, PACS and MUSE systems. The GE TONOPORT™ VI blood pressure monitor is supplied with or without CardioSoft software.

The blood pressure cuff is inflated 50 % faster, at a lower maximum pressure. This use is particularly comfortable for the patient, which also applies to the application of the cuff. In addition, the long-term blood pressure monitor is characterized by its particularly quiet operation during use.

With the help of the GE TONOPORT™ VI, long-term blood pressure measurement can be carried out without any restrictions for the patient in everyday life. Blood pressure measurement is particularly pleasant due to the comfortable cuff. The cuff can be cleaned with a damp cloth for light soiling and with soapy water or disinfected detergent for heavier soiling.

According to the manufacturer, the expected life of the device is 10 years and that of the cuff is 20,000 uses. The blood pressure monitor is powered by rechargeable batteries (2 x NiMH rechargeable batteries) or by AA alkaline batteries (2 pieces, size AA).
