On the front panel, a single XLR combo preamp accepts mic, line, or Hi-Z instrument sources, with 48 V phantom power ready for condensers and active DIs. Engage Vintage to add a gentle harmonic lift and smoother transient shape that flatters voice, DI bass, and acoustic instruments. Leave it off for a transparent path when you plan to sculpt later with plug-ins. Input trim is set by a dedicated gain knob with clear metering, while a large Monitor control and separate Phones level keep listening levels obvious.
I/O covers the essentials without clutter. Balanced line outputs feed powered monitors or an external chain, and the front-panel headphone jack handles tracking and edits without latency anxiety. Hardware direct monitoring blends the live input with DAW return for near-zero-latency cue mixes, so speech and vocals sit naturally in the headphones.
