This a a modified UMR2 MIDI retrofit board specifically designed for use inside a Yamaha CS01 (I or II) without removing the speaker and requires a hole to be drilled for the TRS MIDI jack.  The device has be simplified by removing connections not required for the CS01 so it CANNOT be used with other devices.  It also features psiMIDI which means it can accept either 3.5 TRS A or TRS B MIDI cable

This is an DIY kit which includes:

  • CS01 UMR2 PCB: Complete and preprogrammed with UMR2 firmware
  • Ribbon cable, wires, TRS MIDI Jack
  • 2m long TRS MIDI A Cable

Install Instructions:

Step 1: Ribbon cable Prep

  1. Strand out one end to 1.2 cm from where the cable is stripped
  2. Remove the insulation by gently pulling off the ends and tin the wires
  3. On the other side, simply remove the ends and tin, no stranding needed

Step 2: MIDI Board Prep

  1. Tin all pads with a small blob of solder on both adapter and CPU board

Step 3: CS01 board prep (CS01 II is the same)

  1. Trim the leads on the by the keyboard pads where shown
  2. Add fresh solder to the 12 pads, try to make them even in size
  3. Solder the DC+ and DC- wires where shown

Step 4: MIDI Board soldering

  1. Solder the ribbon cable starting with the middle 2 pins and work your way out.  The red strip is pin D0
  2. On the solder adapter board solder the other end of the ribbon (not that D0 is not marked)
  3. Remove the ground tab from the TRS jack and solder on the wires

Step 5: CS01 Drilling/MIDI Jack.

  1. Drill an 8mm (5/16") hole where shown.  A step drill is recommended.  THIS IS A DELICATE STEP SO EXTREME CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN
  2. Install the MIDI Jack followed by the nut from the other side.  Tighten with needle nose pliers.  Apply sticker (cut in half first)

Step 6: Install the MIDI board

  1. Place the adapter board on top of the keyboard pins
  2. Solder the outermost pins to the pads below them and solder the rest.  Test with meter if needed, those points correspond to the red and black wired below
  3. Remove the backing from the tape on the back of the adapter
  4. Route the MIDI wires in the gap between the keyboard and main board
  5. Stick the MIDI board where shown running the wires under the board with a 90 bend in the ribbon
  6. Solder the MIDI wires to the marked terminals THE ORIENTATION DOES NOT MATTER
  7. Solder the DC+ and DC- wires

Step 7: Calibration

  1. Connect TRS MIDI to your keyboard, set the footing on the CS to 32 (IMPORTANT)
  2. Turn the power switch on.  While holding the program button down with something pointy but not sharp, plug the DC jack in.  Release the pointy thing
  3. LED will flash.  Press the F key on your MIDI keyboard on the octave you want the MIDI notes to trigger the CS-01 to start,  THE MIDI WILL ONLY TRIGGER 32 NOTES FROM THAT F NOTE.  Once the MIDI note is received, the device will pause to save and the LED will flash again
  4. Starting with the first key on the CS-01, you must play each not sequentially, after the note is received, the LED will turn red when the note is on, then green flashing again for the next note.  Repeat for all notes
  5. When complete, press program again, LED will go red then go out
  6. Unplug device, and power up again
  7. Check all MIDI note work over the 32 key range, if any notes are missing, repeat the process

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

oh wow
Format: Kindle
I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Star Read,
Format: Kindle
This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
