Immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of soul and R&B with HOLLAND-DOZIER-HOLLAND: HOT WAX SINGLES, a definitive collection that captures the essence of this legendary label founded in 1968 by the iconic songwriting duo. This 1LP compilation reunites the fresh, bold spirit of Hot Wax Records, giving you a taste of the edgy, funk-infused tracks that propelled R&B into a new era.

Hot Wax Records emerged after Holland-Dozier-Holland’s departure from Motown, showcasing an innovative sound that maintained the soulful heart while exploring bolder grooves. Notable tracks like “Want Ads” by Honey Cone and Laura Lee's powerful “Crumbs Off The Table” exemplify the label's knack for coupling pop sensibility with deeper themes, while “Somebody's Been Sleeping In My Bed” by 100 Proof (Aged In Soul) brings the funky heat that defined the early ‘70s essence of R&B.

This vinyl edition not only compiles these signature hits but also features in-depth liner notes by music historian Stuart Cosgrove, enriching your listening experience with context and storytelling. Perfect for collectors and fans of genuine soul music, this release invites you to celebrate the legacy of a label that remains a cornerstone of R&B history and sound. Plug this black beauty into your turntable, and let the soulful melodies wash over you!

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!
Style: 10 SqFt, Style: 10 SqFt
I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!
Style: 80 mil 36 sqft, Style: 80 mil 36 sqft
I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.

Great sound mat for the price!
Style: 50 mil 50 SqFt, Style: 50 mil 50 SqFt
This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.

Excellent sound deadening mats
Style: 80 mil 36 sqft, Style: 80 mil 36 sqft
Purchased these for a 2020 Lexus RX350 due to the hollow sound of the car doors when shutting. They sounded cheap. The mats are super sticky and I applied them when the doors were hot from sitting in the sun. They alubutyl sticks like crazy and the end result was perfect. Now I have solid sounding doors. Good quality product.
