The 75 Series is a boron carbide insert with a straight bore. The insert is suitable for blast guns and other holders with a cylindrical 3/4" insert format. Several bore sizes are available, from 1/8" (#2) up to 3/8" (#6), for fine to medium precision blasting and spot blasting.
Boron carbide typically provides five to ten times longer service life than tungsten carbide when used with aggressive abrasives, such as aluminium oxide and selected mineral abrasives. This makes the insert particularly suitable for applications where wear resistance and durability are more important than the lowest purchase price.
Boron carbide is more brittle than tungsten carbide — careful handling during installation, removal and use is required to prevent cracking.

Available Sizes and Lengths
Available in bore sizes 1/8" (#2), 3/16" (#3), 7/32" (#3-1/2), 1/4" (#4), 5/16" (#5) and 3/8" (#6), all with a length of 50.8 mm.
