S&B's cold air intake for the 2009-2015 VW 2.0L TDI was engineered to minimize air restriction and flows 35.68 percent better than stock with an efficiency rate of 99.28%. This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out unwanted engine heat. The air filter, couplers, inlet, and box plug are made from Premium Silicone Rubber. Silicone won't crack, has exceptional tear strength, and can handle temperatures as high as 400F.

The one-of-a-kind box design is completely enclosed and lower box prongs seamlessly integrates with the original mounting locations for a flawless fit. Plus, the Silicone Fender Seal channels airflow from the stock location while still utilizing the stock ram air inlet.
Available in either 8-layer Cotton Cleanable or Dry Extendable media
Cleanable is great for people that are running their trucks in the city and highways and tend to stay off dusty roads. They last the longest and are cleanable with the S&B Cleaning Kit. If you tend to keep your truck on the pavement, this is the filter for you.
Dry Filters are meant for trucks that typically are used in dusty environments. Extend the life of the filter by blowing it out with compressed air. Dispose of the filter when you're done with it. If you tend to spend most of your time in the bush, working, and cruising logging roads this filter is for you.

Notes
- For fitment on the 2005.5-2006 cars, you will need to purchase a coupler (Part # VIB 2773). Please see the picture in the last callout of this intake installed on a 2006.
