Description:
The first biography of rapper Mac Miller, the Pittsburgh cult favorite–turned–rap superstar who touched the lives of millions before tragically passing away at the age of 26—now in paperbackMalcolm James McCormick was born on January 19, 1992. He began making music at a young age and by 15 was already releasing mixtapes. One of the first true viral superstars, his early records earned him a rabid legion of die-hard fans—as well as a few noteworthy detractors. But despite his undeniable success, Miller was plagued by struggles with substance abuse and depression, both of which fueled his raw and genre-defying music yet ultimately led to his demise. Through detailed reporting and interviews with dozens of Miller’s confidants, Paul Cantor brings you to leafy Pittsburgh, seductive Los Angeles, and frenzied New York, where you will meet Miller’s collaborators, producers, business partners, best friends, and even his roommates. Traveling deep into Miller’s inner circle, behind the curtain, the velvet ropes, and studio doors, Most Dope tells the story of a passionate, gifted young man who achieved his life’s ambition, only to be undone by his personal demons. Most Dope is part love letter, part cautionary tale, never shying away from the raw, visceral way Mac Miller lived his life. Advance Praise for Most Dope"A compelling and refreshingly honest tale of a rapper who forged a path to success on his own terms. Intersecting with Donald Trump, Rick Rubin, Kendrick Lamar, John Mayer, Jay-Z, and perhaps most famously Ariana Grande, Cantor pulls no punches, detailing Mac’s highs, lows, hard-earned triumphs, and self-inflicted tragedies." —Jonathan Sh

A Beautiful Story of Healing and Hope
Format: Kindle
Where the Wildflowers Grow is a tender and beautifully written story about survival, healing, and unexpected love. Leigh has endured unimaginable loss, and her time on the flower farm becomes the pause her spirit needs. I loved this story as my heart ached at Leigh’s journey. Jackson is a beautiful soul who understands the work of healing and helps her feel seen and alive again. The book is filled with learning nuggets and gentle reminders, including my favorite line: “You are more than the sum of your struggles.” A beautiful reminder that something new can bloom after heartbreak.

Raw, Real and worth the read!
Format: Kindle
There are very few books that pull you in so deeply that you forget you are reading fiction, but Where the Wildflowers Grow did exactly that for me. The story felt raw, honest, and incredibly human. At times, Leigh’s pain, trauma, and hidden struggles were written with such depth that it felt less like reading about a character and more like walking alongside a real person learning how to survive and heal.
What stood out to me most was Jack’s patience and gentleness throughout Leigh’s journey. His ability to love her through the walls she built around herself was both heartbreaking and beautiful. Their relationship wasn’t rushed or unrealistic; it showed the slow, difficult process of trust, healing, and emotional growth in a way that felt authentic.
One of my favorite parts of the book was the symbolism surrounding flower gardening and growth. As someone who loves gardening, the euphemisms woven throughout the story connected with me on a much deeper level. The idea that people, much like flowers, need the right environment, care, patience, and time to bloom was beautifully portrayed. Healing was not shown as instant or perfect, but as something tender that requires nurturing through every season.
This book left me emotional, reflective, and deeply connected to its message. It is a story about pain, love, patience, and the beauty that can still grow from broken places. I absolutely loved it and will be thinking about it for a long time.

Excellent Book

This book helps with many things including installing the confidence that God speaks to us in dreams and visions. It also helps us learn to understand what God is saying via practical interpretation skills that develop over time. A very good book.
