Description:
The Dam Busters, The Great Escape and Reach for the Sky were all written by Paul Brickhill, an Australian hero of WWII. 2016 marks the 100th anniversary of his birth and the 25th anniversary of his death.
It was 1956 and the writer from Sydney's lower North Shore had every reason to feel blessed. Former journalist Paul Brickhill was the highest-earning author in the UK and two of his bestselling books - The Dam Busters and Reach for the Sky - had recently been made into blockbuster films. Another of his books - inspired by his experiences as a prisoner of war in Stalag Luft 3 in Germany during the Second World War - was attracting Hollywood interest. That book was The Great Escape.
Yet, life for the enigmatic Brickhill was never simple. He was beset with mental-health issues and his marriage to model Margot Slater was tempestuous. He struggled with alcohol and writer's block too, as his success - and all that accompanied it - threatened to overwhelm him.
In The Hero Maker, award-winning historical author and biographer Stephen Dando-Collins exposes the contradictions of one of Australia's most successful, but troubled, writers. Brickhill's extraordinary story - from the youth with a debilitating stutter to Sydney Sun journalist to Spitfire pilot and POW to feted author - explodes vividly to life on the centenary of his birth.

Size: 12-18 Months Toddler, Color: Pink Sherpa
These shoes are easy to put on and fit great. My daughter can’t easily take them off. I love the material and I’m grateful that I know her feet are warm during the cold month. They seem like they’d be easy to wash.

Quality booties that don’t fall off
Size: 0-3 Months Infant, Color: Ivory Sherpa, Size: 0-3 Months Infant, Color: Ivory Sherpa
Love these booties - super cute, quality made, and they don’t fall off even when we’re passing the baby around. We put these on without socks; the booties are not lined with fleece but has a firm sole. I got the 0-3 months size for my 3 month old and there’s still a little bit of room to grow. Easy to put on baby’s wiggling feet and there are two snap buttons to select for fit. There’s really no grip on these so not sure how they hold up for walking. The fleece is plush and seems to keep baby’s feet warm.

In the winter/fall months these were our go to shoes for our daughter! They were comfortable for her and kept her feet warm. Easy to put on and take off and so cute!! We’ve washed them quite a few times and they hold up really well.

Cute and stay on wiggly baby!
Size: 0-3 Months Infant, Color: Ivory Sherpa
Love these boots because they are so cute and stay on my wiggly baby's feet because of the snap that holds them in place. I also like how there are two different snaps to choose from depending on how thick your baby's feet are.

Cozy Robeez
Robeez have always been my go-to baby shoe. They are good quality and a good fit with room to grow. I never go by the month sizing since it really varies for each child. These cozy booties are nice and soft with the same fit as the standard robeez soft sole shoes. These are adjustable with two snaps options to make them tighter or looser.
