Explore the tumultuous history of the Republic of the Congo post-independence with 'Congo Unravelled (Africa@War 40)'. This insightful book by Andrew Hudson delves into the complex political landscape that has shaped one of Africa's largest nations. The narrative meticulously unpacks the tangled relationships of Congolese leaders, Cold War dynamics, and continued foreign interests, specifically Belgium's pursuit of Congo's rich mineral resources. This book is essential for anyone interested in African history, political science, and military operations. In 'Congo Unravelled', uncover key military interventions, including the United Nations' operations (ONUC) aimed at resolving the Katanga secession and the bold Dragon Operations led by Belgian paratroopers backed by U.S. air support. Each event is chronicled with clarity, providing readers a comprehensive understanding of the military efforts to stabilize Congo. Additionally, the book details the notorious mercenary revolt, offering a candid look at modern mercenarism's legacy in Africa. Discover lesser-known military occurrences, such as the harrowing experiences of Irish UN forces stranded in hostile territory, and joint operations involving Belgian paratroopers and mercenaries working toward humanitarian goals. This pivotal work is a must-read for anyone seeking to better understand the intricacies of post-independence Congo and the ongoing implications for Africa today. With its compelling prose and thorough research, 'Congo Unravelled' is an invaluable addition to your library of African studies, political upheaval, and military history.Shipping Notes

Great jacket for the price!
Size: XX-Large, Color: White
The denim jacket has a nice relaxed fit without feeling too baggy and it looks great doing it. There's just enough elastic for the jacket to stretch a little without losing its shape. The color's accurate and it's hard to beat the price so I've no notes!

I bought these shoes with plans to take photos with my son for Christmas. It was last minute and these really impressed. Other places were charges $20+ more than the rate here on Amazon. They fit true to size. They Look super nice and sleek and got the job done.

You get what you pay for
Size: 13, Color: Black
First thing I noticed when unboxing was the Strong plastic smell coming out of the shoe
I tried them on and Shoe runs small I bought size 13 and it was way to tight I ended up giving them to a co worker that use size 12 and fit him perfectly, he started walking and the rubber sole was leaving black marks all over the tile floor you could see exactly where he was stepping and left a trail he literally used them for less than 1 hr and ended up throwing them away, definitely you get what you pay for. Reminds me of payless shoes, cheap smelly plastic shoes.
