The sixth in Rivermont's popular Big Broadcast series, this CD features a variety of excellent jazz, dance band, and vocal recordings of the 1920s and 1930s selected by Rich Conaty, late host of the long-running vintage music radio program The Big Broadcast heard Sunday evenings on WFUV-FM in New York City. Many of these selections are making their first appearance on compact disc, expertly remastered from the best available sources. Conaty provides insightful introductions to each recording in the enclosed 16-page illustrated booklet. Every selection is a stand-out, but highlights in Volume 6 include the very first recording by Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey (with the Scranton Sirens in 1923), a rare vocal by a young Jimmy Stewart from 1931, a brilliant hi-fi recording of Paul Whiteman's Orchestra from 1932, and a live 1932 broadcast by Cab Calloway from New York City. 78 minutes.

Good Christmas gift for family members.
Format: Paperback
I got this as a small gift for a fellow Star Wars fan in my family for the holidays. We both like chatting it up when it comes to Star Wars and I thought this graphic novel would do the trick for a small gift. It was great!! The illustrations are detailed and follow the movie plot closely which is good.

Worth every penny
Format: Paperback
Great adaptation. Art is outstanding, story is true to the film but with added depth and insight. Really nice book. My kid loves it, thumbs through it almost every day and we’ve already read through it together a bunch of times.

Just solid
Format: Kindle
The art is decent and the narration is structured, yet it’s not the best story of the sequel trilogy, but it’s definitely better than Rise of Skywalker in my opinion.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is presented a little better.
Format: Paperback
It takes cringe moments in the movie, and represents then better. The great Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is still portrayed as the pathetic, washed up, deadbeat hermit - but you begin feel sorry for him in this comic book presentation. A lot of it is narrated by Luke himself, and you feel his iner turmoil. Not to give spoilers for the few who missed the movie, story elements that bothered many fans are still there, Extracurricular parts, such as “your mama” jokes and getting green milk from the creature, is, thankfully, omitted.
