The Kentucky Heavy Fleece Square Blanket is a fantastic multi-purpose horse rug with an attractive black, grey and burgundy striped design.
This versatile horse blanket can be used under a rug, as a cooler, after bathing and washing off, over tack or over the hindquarters prior to exercise. We also think it would make a lovely addition to your horsebox's living area for human use!
It is made from a heavyweight fleece that is quick to dry. The clever technology transports sweat and moisture to the surface of the rug where it can evaporate.
Your horse will dry within five minutes after washing off, so the blanket will keep your horse at a comfortable temperature even in winter.
The polyester fabric has the look of wool, but is more durable and easier to care for, because it is machine washable and shavings can easily be brushed off.
It is available in a choice of three different sizes. The largest 210cm x 200cm size means that the blanket is incredibly practical and can be worn in different ways. It can be used to cover the horse's neck for extra warmth, or folded back if desired. It can also be folded in half and placed behind your horse's saddle for a sophisticated look.
There is no pressure between the blanket and your horse's mane, which eliminates the risk of rubbing in this sensitive area. There are also no front closures or surcingles to worry about, making the rug quick and easy to put on and take off.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, Kentucky advise against using a tumble dryer as it can cause the fabric to pill.
The Kentucky Heavy Fleece Square Blanket is available in Black/Grey Stripes, in sizes 140 x 120cm, 140cm x 160cm or 210cm x 200cm.
