Marine collagen provides mainly type 1. Type 1 collagen form the structural and mechanical matrix of bone, skin, tendons, cornea, blood vessel walls and other connective tissues.  

Hydrolysed collagen is collagen that has been broken down into smaller units of protein (or collagen peptides) through a process called hydrolysis. The peptides can easily dissolve in hot or cold liquids, even smoothies or baked goods. 

Sfera Marine collagen is sourced from organic aquaculture and sustainable sources (tilapia scales). It does not contain any allergen ingredients like crustacean shellfish.
