1970年代ワイスのラインストーンイヤリング。ゴールデンイエローの煌めきを放つマーキスカットストーンが立体的に連なり華やかなフォルムを形作る、ヴィンテージならではのボリュームあるデザイン。ストーンは一石一石爪留めされており、しっかりとしたお作りです。身に纏えば眩い輝きがお顔周りを彩り、明るさに満ちた華やかな気品を放ちます。
※経年によりラインストーン内部にくすみ、メタル全体に細かな傷が見られます。
【WEISS(ワイス)とは】
Albert Weissがデザイナーとして在籍していたCoroから独立し、1942年にNYで設立したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。WEISS本人がデザインを手掛け、制作も自社工場で行われました。WEISSのジュエリーは、オーストリア製の高品質なラインストーンを贅沢に使用した華やかなデザインが特徴。ラインストーンはその色と輝きが最も美しく見えるよう、一石ずつ手作業で爪留めされました。また、WEISSはその絶妙で印象的な色使いから「色の魔術師」と称されました。会社は1971年に閉業しましたが、そのクオリティの高さから現在もなおコレクターを魅了しています。
