Weeping Wall PosterI painted Weeping Wall while thinking about loss, the kind that settled quietly into everyday life. The mood resonated with Shaun Tans The Red Tree and the emotional landscapes of William Kentridge. His absence became a wall in the heart of my home, filled with memories of those no longer with us. The title came from David Bowies song Weeping Wall from the album Low, a fitting tribute since Bowies work had always felt deeply connected to mine.
