Catesby's Lily Lilium Catesbaei Pine Lily Leopard Lily Tiger Lily Southern-Red Lily - an iconic engraved and hand-coloured Georgian illustration (plate N 259) from Curtis's Botanical Magazine published in 1794, in London, England.

Curtis's Botanical Magazine or Flower-Garden Displayed is a famous British illustrated publication first began in 1787, and the longest running botanical magazine in the world. It was started by William Curtis as an illustrated gardening and botanical journal few years after he published another well known work "Flora Londinensis". The first issue was illustrated by artists James Sowerby, Sydenham Edwards and others, and the hand-colouring of all plates in approximately 3000 copies was done by up to thirty people. The Curtis's Botanical Magazine has been published continuously for over two hundred years and became the greatest source of high quality botanical illustrations and the most cited botanical work.

William Curtis (1746 - 1799) was an English botanist and entomologist. He was born in Alton, Hampshire. Curtis began his career as an apothecary and soon turned his attention to natural history. From the age of 24 he gave lectures at Chelsea Physic Garden, and at 25 published an "Instructions for collecting and preserving insects; particularly moths and butterflies". From 1777 to 1798 he published 6 volumes of "Flora Londinensis", a pioneering work on urban wildlife which was not selling well however. William Curtis became well known and financially successful after starting Curtis's Botanical Magazine in 1787.

Good but a bit overpriced
Pattern Name: Half Ears (15-pack)
I like these as they are a good size and not as greasy as others. I have 4 dogs that get one each evening. It would be nice if they were a bit cheaper.

Apparently delicious to dogs!
Pattern Name: Half Ears (15-pack)
Bought these hoping they wouldn't be too large for my 10 lb. dog, and found that she loves them so much it doesn't matter that she can't finish one all at once. I think they are her favorite treat, and can last her days, so it is a great deal both for her, and for my wallet! (she also doesn't get them more than once every week or two!)

Chew that pig ear doggie
Pattern Name: Half Ears (15-pack)
These are halves of pig ears. My little dachshund doesn't need the entire ear. Half is much better size. And still we break the halves in half. She loves them. Helps clean her teeth while she is chewing and destressing. I would recommend to other dog owners.

So nice I ordered a second bag!
Pattern Name: Full Ears (25-pack)
I can’t say that ordering this brand has always been a success. I was ordering half ears. Then one bag came without an expiration date and they didn’t look so good. The next time I bought two of the smaller bags instead. Those ears seemed too small. Mostly OK though. Expiration date on the bag. But this last purchase of full ears looks really good. Expiration date on the package is 12/26. We are nearing the middle of May. So I ordered another bag. My piano teacher (weekly lesson) has two big, tough, but sweet dogs. They watch for me to come up the walk and wait at the door for their pig’s ears 🙂. Thanks! Update: second bag has September 2027 expiration date. Beautiful ears. Delivered next day and I don’t even have Prime. 🙂. Thanks!

So Far So Good
I adopted a young adult dog less than 2 weeks ago. She had spent over 12 hours a day in a crate and has excessive energy and anxiety built up. She is a strong chewer. So far, out of 6 toys, this is the only one still in one piece. It appears sturdy and extra bouncy. So much better than regular tennis balls.
