The EVO3 Nova is a state-of-the-art passive power cleaning system incorporating full DC cancellation. It is ideal for large scale audio systems or home theatre installations. The system offers twelve independently filtered power outlets, eight rated at 10A for source components and four rated at 16A. Design
EVO3 Nova is a twelve-way full system mains power cleaning solution comprising four high-current outlets, featuring IsoTek’s unique Direct-Coupled© technology, a system capable of delivering 3’680W of continuous power, ideal for power amplifiers, mono-block amplifiers, subwoofers, and active loudspeakers. This circuit provides optimal high-current low impedance filtering while fully maintaining transient and dynamic performance.
The EVO3 Nova is an innovative component with a power cleaning and distribution system measuring 445mm in width, 370mm deep and 185mm high. It is a significant step up from both the Aquarius and Sigmas models. Nova really is a full-scale power cleaning system incorporating twelve power cleaners in one box all output sockets are independent, each one with its own dedicated power cleaning network; these dramatically reduce both Differential Mode and Common Mode noise. Cross contamination of connected components is also kept to a minimum due to the multiple power cleaning stages for each output socket. Most power filters join output sockets together, running each in series. This is an error as Differential Mode Noise created by your connected electronics will cross contaminate from one output socket to the next. The electrical architecture and design of Nova is dramatically superior.
There are four high current low impedance outlets, rated at 16A, delivering 3’680W at 230V or 1’840W at 115V, these are suitable for power amplifiers, active loudspeakers or sub woofers and feature a light version of the Titan’s Direct-Coupled© circuit. The eight remaining medium current outputs rated at 10A are designed for source components. These feature IsoTek’s unique Adaptive Gating© technology that autosenses the connected load, thus giving the ideal optimal clean power based upon power draw. The power cleaning network is more sophisticated than that of Aquarius or Sigmas models. Nova is ideal for large scale audio or audio-visual installations.
KERP© (Kirchhoff’s Equal Resistance Path) ensures equal resistance and equal power delivery to all outlets. The internal wiring is of the highest standard; ultra-pure Ohno Continuous Cast copper solid core conductor strands with silver-plating offers low resistance and high amperage. A Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) helix is wound around the conductor before an extruded FEP dielectric protects the conductor and creates a Virtual Dielectric of Air (VDA). This construction gives unrivalled performance and gives the ultimate low resistance, high performance internal power delivery system. Furthermore, 108,000A of instantaneous protection is provided, safeguarding valuable equipment via IsoTek’s unique sequential and repeatable protection system.
Also built into the Nova, is the Syncro unique DC-cancelling circuit that rebalances the mains sine wave on the zero volts line, to dramatically reduce/silence transformer hum; the circuit synchronizes the mains supply to provide a perfectly symmetrical sine wave, which also delivers significant sonic improvement when used with any hi-fi separates.
Nova is high quality design, highly functional and an excellent upgrade for a complete high-end audio or audio video system improving sound stage, three-dimensional imaging, bass articulation, control and a sense of extended frequency range and openness. IsoTek’s award winning Premier power cable is also included.
The internal wiring of IsoTek products synergizes with the range of IsoTek power cables. One critical but overlooked area is maintaining commonality of design and material properties though an audio wiring loom, be it signal carrying cables or your power cable network.
