About Cazadores Añejo Tequila

Cazadores Añejo Tequila: Aged to Perfection

Looking for a top-notch añejo tequila that's aged to perfection? Look no further than Cazadores Añejo Tequila. With its smooth and complex flavor profile, this tequila is perfect for sipping neat or using in your favorite cocktail recipes.

Here's everything you need to know about this exceptional spirit: Cazadores Añejo Tequila is an award-winning tequila that has been aged for a minimum of 12 months in American oak barrels. This aging process gives the tequila a rich, smooth, and complex flavor that is perfect for sipping or mixing.

Interesting Fact

Cazadores Tequila was founded in 1922 by Don José María Bañuelos, who was inspired to create his own tequila after tasting the local agave spirits in the town of Arandas, Jalisco. Today, Cazadores is known for producing some of the finest tequilas in the world, using only the highest quality agave and traditional production methods.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, Cazadores Añejo Tequila has notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak, with a hint of spice. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, with flavors of toasted oak, vanilla, and honey, followed by a long and satisfying finish.

Cocktail Recommendation:

Cazadores Añejo Tequila is perfect for sipping neat or on the rocks, but it also makes a great addition to your favorite cocktail recipes. Try it in a classic margarita or mix it with fresh lime juice and agave syrup for a delicious and refreshing paloma.

Recommended by Analise Stettner, creator of the Tijuana Brass as a recommended spirit to pair with Shaker & Spoon’s Añejo, Let’s Go! Box.

Something normally found more in valley tequilas, Tequila Cazadores Añejo has a delightfully floral nose with hints of citrus and roasted agave, with a nice dusty base. The beautiful golden color catches the eye, and although it's lighter than other añejos out there, it is very approachable, both in terms of profile and budget. And as Analise Stettner says, “Cazadores Añejo’s flavor is delicate and slightly woody with notes of caramel and cocoa, which makes it perfect for your cocktail concoctions but it’s also a lovely sipper on its own. This añejo has a well composed flavor with just the right amount of spice.”

Production Details

Cazadores Añejo Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, which is grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, and then distilled twice in copper pot stills. After distillation, the tequila is aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months, which gives it its rich and complex flavor profile.

In conclusion, Cazadores Añejo Tequila is an exceptional añejo tequila that is perfect for sipping or mixing. With its smooth and complex flavor profile, it's no wonder that this tequila has won numerous awards and accolades over the years. If you're a fan of high-quality tequila, be sure to give Cazadores Añejo Tequila a try.

Well written informative engaging and evocative
Format: Kindle
I've walked to Santiago twice, in 2016 at 65 from St. Jean and in 2019 from Le Puy and bought the book during the pandemic as I waxed nostalgic for the weeks on the road under load with beer bread and bed waiting each afternoon. Beth did a marvelous job of capturing her Camino and much of mine. I can see some of the sights again, the sunrises, the amazing stonework, the clothes drying in the afternoons, the passers by, the cultivated for centuries and still natural landscapes. I almost again feel the foot pain, the rain , the sun, the climbs, the descents, the hot cold on off showers, and the hugs. She helped me again hear the news from Radio Camino, the snoring in the gites and albergues, songs on the road, and the slightly tipsy and slightly loud cafe conversations. I could smell the the morning coffee bowl, the cheeses, the pastries, the animal dropping. And she helped me remember speedy young pilgrims, poor and semi-prosperous middle age Spaniards, paths that were old when followed by Charlemagne, D'Artagnan, and Roman legionnaires, and friends, companions and acquaintancesof all ages and duration. Very well done. Thank you Beth. Buen Camino...

Entertaining and informative
Format: Kindle
Walking the Camino has been on my bucket list for about 10 years and enjoy reading these types of books. Perhaps because of Justino's background, this is by far the most interesting and entertaining Camino story I've read. For me, it is just the right mix of her daily hiking experience along with a little historical background for context. Her subtle, sometimes self-degrading, humor is a bonus. At the end of the book she provided her daily destinations and miles walked along with a packing list which is something I wish more authors would provide. I'm in my 60's now and beginning to doubt if I will ever make the walk but after reading this book I'm still hoping.

An amazing adventure
Format: Paperback
I read this book because I’ve walked a very small portion of the Camino and was interested in what an additional 900 miles would be like. Beth’s descriptions of the day-to-day challenges did not motivate me to find out for myself, but I was very glad to experience it through her. “Walking” was well written in that I felt as though I had actually met all the interesting people along the way and shared their conversations and meals and beers. When Beth and Eric finally reached the end, I could actually feel their bittersweet finale. I highly recommend this book because it shares not only useful information if you decide to walk the Camino, but it also shares what Beth describes as a huge part of the experience, the camaraderie of all involved.

A Very Enjoyable "Glad it was you!" Story
Format: Paperback
I had a great time reading this outloud to my husband by the electric fireplace while Beth and her husband treked across France and Spain in all kinds of weather and discomfort. The journey was captivating, lovely, and hilarious all at the same time. As Beth mentions, it was not a "walk in the park" and there were many times I was glad to NOT be in her shoes, even though I envied her escaping the daily technilogical rat race we all struggle with. It did leave me wanting to go on a hike...in the sunshine....on level ground....nearby. I highly recommended the book for stress relief and enjoyable reading.
