  • PROPRIETARY TREATMENT: Remaining 20% is a proprietary resin that makes the sink completely non-porous, anti-bacterial, and resistant to stains and most household chemicals.
  • INNOVATIVE SLOPE-BOTTOM: Bottom of the sink has a 1-inch slope towards the drain ensuring that all water and debris rushes towards the drain.
  • OFFSET DRAIN: Sink can be installed with the drain on the left or right side providing extra under-cabinet space for storage.
  • UNDERMOUNT INSTALLATION: Cutout templates and mounting clips are provided.
  • RINSE GRID SOLD SEPARATELY: Food-grade silicone grid protects the bottom of the sink and acts as a draining rack (Model #: RVA41033BK)

Modern Africa started after a long rough and rocky start. This book describes the trials each district has had to face to gain their freedom from Europe and what life was like in each district under the control of foreigners. As WWI began, many of Africa's districts were effected, some were forced to supply fighting men, some had their resources used to support the war effort, and some had fighting in their area. When WWII started Africa found that not much had changed. However, as Africa gained its freedom and became self governing internal wars broke out between the different tribes. Well, you will have to read the book to find out how that turned out. This book covers all that and so much more. It all written in an easy to read and understand format that Captivating History is known for and as always they do a great job of explaining everything. This is a great book and recommend you giving it a read.

An Overview of an Oft-Overlooked History

Depending on your ethnicity, you may, or may not, know a lot about Africa. This book summarizes the Continent’s history, highlighting the major events and occurrences that contributed its current geopolitical state. Africa today is made up of 54 countries, 2000 languages, 20% of the Earth's land mass, and 1.4 billion people. It therefore should play an important part in the World, today (which it does, but one that rarely makes the headlines in USA TV or newspaper coverage.) The Author covers, Slavery, European Colonization, Africa’s part in World Wars One & Two, and the various Religious histories going back to the time of Christ. Since the author is American, there is a portion devoted to the USA’s main relationships with different African Nations. All this culminates in a surveillance of the numerous African Civil Wars of the last 50 years leading to the reality of the current geopolitical scene. The section on Dictators and Revolutionaries is limited to one of each. I’m guessing there could have been more. Still, if you are looking for an overview of Africa as it is today and what contributed to its present situation, this is an excellent beginning point.
