Laerdal Stifneck® Select™ Collar

The Stifneck Select is an easily adjustable, completely assembled extrication collar. All you have to do is measure the patient, select the size, adjust and lock – four simple steps. This collar fits all sizes and ensures perfect immobilisation of the cervical vertebrae in the case of suspected injuries. In addition, the locks ensure selected sizes stay in place.

The Stifneck's oversized tracheal opening enables easy access for airway management and pulse monitoring. It also provides a clear view of the larynx. There is room at the back of the Laerdal Stifneck Select for palpation, even with large fingers.

This immobilisation collar is suitable for adults, but is also available in a version especially for children.

The Laerdal Stifneck Select is radiolucent and is therefore also suitable for CT or MRI examinations without having to remove the collar.
