This Yallingup bottling sits alongside the single-vineyard Sheoak as the more approachable expression in the range - blending Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sheoak Vineyard with Merlot and Malbec from a neighbouring estate, the latter two varieties adding generosity and mid-palate weight to the blend. Like all Nocturne wines, it is made with minimal intervention using indigenous yeasts and no fining.

The 2023 vintage was low-yielding, with cool winters and a warm, dry early year delivering excellent ripening conditions across Yallingup. Deep crimson in colour, the wine opens with cassis and a hint of saline freshness on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, with fine firm tannins, vibrant red fruit and a long, pure finish.
