Imagine the end of a long climb in high summer heat. Your jersey’s soaked, and you know you’re going to get thoroughly chilled on the equally long descent. That’s why you brought a wind vest. Problem is, that vest may be wet already, too – unless you’ve stashed it in the Apparel POK, where it wouldn’t absorb any moisture. The POK’s waterproof construction keeps your accessories dry, ensuring that when you reach for that extra protection, it’s still able to offer warmth, and not just more clammy chill.
