The K&N 69-6000TR Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Mazda Miata and MX-5 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-6000TR air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive red powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. I used to have a paper holder affixed to the wall. Obviously, it was stable but not always delivering the size of paper towel that we expected.
After redoing my kitchen backsplash that I didn’t want to pierce through just yet, i decided to go for an countertop paper towel holder, and i picked this one (in black) Reviews were decent and i liked that it has an “arm” to hold the paper.
So, i put it to the test (see video) Here are my conclusions:
1) Solid built and weighted at the bottom + rubber to prevent the holder from moving around while pulling the paper 👍🏼
2) out of five trials at pulling the paper, i only had one fail (see video) which is still a better ratio than with my wall holder. 👍🏼
3) There are probably cheaper holders on the market, but most of them are not stable and require two hands to pull paper. This one is easy of use with only one hand which is useful while cooking.
4) i like that this holder comes in different colors, to match the kitchen decoration.
5) The hook at the top of the holder is convenient to carry the holder out of the kitchen, to the dining table for example.
