Ready to take your BMW N20 turbo to the next level? How about up to 50hp to the wheels (65hp crank) on a completely stock car or up to 100hp to the wheels (120hp crank) on a fully modified car? The JB4 features a simple plug and play installation harness for easy installation and includes many features not found on any other tune. Including the ability to enable/disable the tuning from the drivers seat, gear dependent boost control to help with traction, E85 compatibility, built in diagnostic code reading/deleting, expanded engine safety systems, free firmware updates, in dash boost gauge, the ability to control the exhaust flapper using your BC button, and much more.

The JB4 does not require any additional modifications or previous stages. Simply install the JB4 as your first and only modification and enjoy an entirely new fast and smooth racing experience. For more advanced enthusiasts the BMS DATA or JB4 Mobile cable allows you to connect a laptop or smartphone for additional gauges, data logging, and free firmware updates as we add new features and maps. Also note some F10 and X chassis models require a JB4 mobile adapter or BMS data cable to select options bit#1 to enable the in-dash controls for those models. 

The JB4 is a full plug and play device that installs and removes in minutes at home without special tools and unlike flash maps that permanently write over your DME with the JB4 your DME is never aware it's running more than the factory power levels. And when you're ready to change things up the JB4 is not VIN locked and can be moved to your next vehicle or resold.

Wirelessly connect the JB4 to your Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS and Android device via the JB4 Mobile connect kit, or to your Windows laptop with the BMS data cable. Both options allow you to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, change JB4 performance maps, and update JB4 firmware as we release free newer versions with updates, more powerful maps, and new features under development. Separate JB4 Mobile app purchase also required.

NOTES: The X1 & Z4 N20 JB4 is very different than the F series N20 JB4. They use special firmware (with full dash control) and have a different CAN mounting location. The firmware is below and labeled for the X1/Z4 series N20. X1 N20 JB4 Install video & details here.

What is a JB4?

The JB4 is a plug & play tune available for turbocharged vehicles. The JB4 tuner installs between your car's sensors and its DME/ECU (computer) and manipulates vehicle performance through these connections making your vehicle much faster. While it's not the only tuning system that operates this way the JB4 separates itself from the competition with much more advanced connection points and processing including CANbus, fuel & spark control, Bluetooth to your smartphone, and a variety of innovative and advanced features not possible with any other system. BMS regularly publishes free mapping and firmware updates adding performance and features as ongoing development allows. In addition, the JB4 system is not VIN-locked to your vehicle and can quickly be removed and swapped between cars or resold at a later time. Often imitated but never duplicated the JB4 has been the gold standard in plug and play turbocharged performance tuning for over a decade.

They really do work!

I rarely give reviews that aren’t motivated by disappointment, but this is one of them. Medicube makes several products that I use alongside $170 serums and creams, and the Zero Pore Pad is one of them. I love the dual texture, and even after using a pre-cleanser and a “microfolient” face wash (both expensive washes from by Dermologica), the Zero Pore Pad is my ONLY choice for a toner. Compared to the products that go on after using the pads, the pads are incredibly affordable for the results I’ve seen. On the rougher side of the pad, this toner still somehow finds pockets of sebum that are visible on the pad after using as directed. It’s like magic. I’m on my third container of Zero Pore Pads and I can say, without a doubt, they have had noticeable results on my skin, mostly on my nose and the cheek area around my nose. The size of my pores are now smaller, almost invisible. This is despite the fact that I layer a bunch of serums, creams and a moisturizer at night that I lock in with the peel-off Medicube collagen mask. Despite the weight of it all on my pores, the pads still have worked, and they aren’t harsh like some toners-but if you have very sensitive skin or are on acne medication, go with their milder sister product). I wash my face three times a day due to the ick of polluted air and layers of moisturizer and sunscreen, so I’ve been using these three times a day, but occasionally I use the Koji and Tumeric Pads, which have had no noticeable effect aside from serving as a basic toner. The application is lovely on all Medicube’s pads with their dual texture, but like the collagen mask these Zero Pore Pads really do work (for me). Because skin varies with age and melanin content, I am a pale white woman (female at birth) of Scandinavian descent so I don’t know if these would have had the same impact on me at age 17, but now they work, really well. I literally have the glass skin K-beauty prizes—I just used the pads and thought I had something on my face because my skin was shining. I love these, try them!

Good toner pad option

I like these to use no more than 1-2x a week for my skin. I use them before bed and wake up noticing smoother and more event toned skin. If you use them too often, they can cause redness and irritation, but I have never gotten a rash or a breakout because of them. I will say, they do not exfoliate all your texture away and refine your pores to perfection like the marketing says, but nothing does. The AHA and BHA are the chemical exfoliants and work just like they do in any other product. The pads are very moist and stay saturated in the container as long as you keep the lid shut. Overall, a good toner pad option to be used occasionally in your routine and do not mix with any other actives.
