About the Brand
Founded in 2011 and inspired by the mathematics of nature, Fundamental Berlin creates design objects that are functional and adaptable to individual needs, providing the perfect gift for someone looking to combine the useful and the aesthetic.
With a philosophy that focuses on openness, innovation, and inspiration, Fundamental Berlin has created over 50 products in the last 7 years. While each design stems from a fusion of the analytical and the natural, the end results have a lightness of touch and an easy, intuitive feel, portraying an inherent complexity that appears as simple as nature itself.
Focusing on the phenomenal and sensual aspects of material, the creators at Fundamental Berlin typically use only one material per design, making the pieces easy to clean, service, and recycle. Designs are created using sustainably-sourced materials, recycled packaging, and community-focused manufacturing, working with small craft factories to create luxurious objects with a craftsman’s attention to detail and quality.
