1960年代スフィンクスのエナメルイヤリング。植物のような独特のモチーフに、バーントオレンジ×レッドブラウンのエナメルが施されています。深く鮮やかな色彩とユニークなデザインが印象的なお品。身に纏えば、洗練された美しさと視線を惹きつける個性を放ちます。
【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
