Silver Maple Block SM-246 2.5" x 2.5" x 15" 2 lbs. This is a beautiful, heavily-spalted spindle of Texas-grown Silver Maple. It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even grain texture. There is beautiful zone spalting that changes the wood tone to a darker shade of brown in the spalted zones. There is plentiful black-line spalting on the exposed faces. The grain runs long and more-or-less straight, parallel to the long axis of the spindle. This wood has been fully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. The block is rough-sawn with some surface irregularities. There may be a few bug boreholes present. I've taken photos of all faces, so please scroll down below the first 3 photos to see more images. This block has a few end-grain cracks that you may wish to secure with CA glue prior to turning. |

Great item!
Color: Black
The only thing that would make this item better would be for it to come with the soap dispensers. My current ones didn't fit it in, so I had to swap. I really like the drip tray to make cleaning it easier!

This looks great and absolutely declutters my sink area. Has a tray to catch runoff water. Made very well. Super pleased.

Very nice looking
Color: Brushed Nickel
I like the metal finish on this caddy. It looks very sharp on my countertop. It holds everything I need close at hand to the sink. The only thing I wish was different is where you can put brushes with handles. They fall through the metal piece at the bottom. I wish that part of the caddy had a solid bottom piece.
