'Brilliant, timely and compulsively readable. Helen Lewis shows how the idea of genius has warped our understanding of human creativity - and why people of vast accomplishment in one domain can prove so destructively clueless in others.' OLIVER BURKEMAN
The tortured poet. The rebellious scientist. The monstrous artist. The tech disruptor.
You can tell what a society values by who it labels as a genius. You can also tell who it excludes, who it enables, and what it is prepared to tolerate.
Taking us from the Renaissance Florence of Leonardo da Vinci to the Floridian rocket launches of Elon Musk's SpaceX, Helen Lewis unravels a word that we all use - without really questioning what it means.
Along the way, she uncovers the secret of the Beatles' success, asks how biographers should solve the Austen Problem, and reveals why Stephen Hawking thought IQ tests were for losers (before taking one herself). And she asks if the modern idea of genius - a class of special people - is dist

Great Value - Use the right adhesive and they are crystal clear
Item Package Quantity: 48
These are generally pretty good. Some have rough edges from the mold, but there's not too many in the pack that are like that. Each come shipped in a bag. DO NOT USE GORILLA GLUE IMPACT TOUGH SUPER GLUE to seal these. They cloud the plastic. I used JB WELD LIGHT ACTIVATED and it worked perfectly. Model glue probably works too, but I haven't tried that yet. Less is more.

Great Cases for Cards
Item Package Quantity: 12, Item Package Quantity: 12
These were great for what I wanted them for. I like the look of having a card slabbed with a label but sending to the big grading companies is expensive. I was able to Slab wrestling cards, and sports cards. I even did one of my garbage pail kids. These are not designed to just snap together and do require some plastic adhesive or glue. Not a bad price for what I needed them for.

Don’t get this
Item Package Quantity: 6
The two sides don’t fit together properly and pop open with the slightest of uneven pressure. There’s practically no clips to keep them together so cards just slide right out of them when picked up vertically. Don’t get this if you are looking for something to keep very expensive items in as they will just get ruined or lost. You get what you pay for.
