SPHINXが"Bulter&Wilson"のために、1980年代に制作したクロスモチーフのペンダント。Bulter&Wilsonは、1972年ロンドン創業のジュエリーブランドです。

ラウンドモチーフとクロスモチーフが連なるゴールドトーンメタルに細やかなテクスチャーが施され、深く鮮やかなガーネットレッドのストーンがセットされています。

ヴィンテージらしい、クラシカルで重厚感のあるデザイン。

遠目からも印象的なシルエットが存在感を放ち、デコルテを独特のムードで魅せてくれるお品です。

お手持ちのネックレスチェーンに通してご着用ください。

ペンダント裏側のメタルに一箇所メッキが薄くなった部分がございますが、その他良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
