The BD name became recognized in 1989, when the company introduced the first exhaust brake for the burgeoning diesel pick-up truck market. BD's roots, however, actually date back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance are one, with eight specialty divisions that focus on diesel power train components: Fuel Injection Calibration Department, Exhaust Brake Manufacturing, Electronic Circuit Design and Assembly, Transmission and Torque Converter Design and Remanufacturing, Turbocharger Design, Installation and Research and Development. Great oil for BMWs

Not much too say, it's the classic oil, only thing I can note is that it came with the old packaging and all that, but it works great for my car and runs smooth and without noises or temps, good value, and fairly fast shipping, good thing I can find it on here because none of my local auto stores had it on stock.

It works.

Ran this for 5k and did oil analysis. It performed identically to Mobil 1 ESP 5w30. No issues, stayed in grade, nothing negative. That said, it was no better than ESP and wear metals were functionally the same as multiple other similar rated oils. It’s perfectly fine, but not better. It’s a great value. I wouldn’t use it for extended oil change intervals. No oil consumption noted.
