It has a beautiful warmth to the wood, with color of light reddish brown. The grain on this piece is long and straight on one face, gently swirling on the other three faces. Slippery Elm Block SE143 2.8" x 2.8" x 14.8" 2.8 lbs. This is a nice end-grain block of Slippery Elm (aka Red Elm). It has a beautiful warmth to the wood, with color of light reddish-brown. The grain on this piece is long and straight on one face, gently swirling on the other three faces. There are lots of small knots that add character to this piece. It's been air-dried to a moisture content of 10-12%. There are several cracks in this piece that you will probably need to treat with CA glue if turning. Several of the small knots also have voids that you could opt to fill with CA glue or leave open. There is one wane edge, as shown in the photos. We've discounted this piece a bit because of the extra features. |

Great Quality and Stylish

Exactly what I was looking for. I don’t like socks that are no-show that your ankles rub on the shoe. These are taller than that but shorter than socks that go up and over the ankle. They’re comfortable, good quality, and pretty thick. They’re form fitting m, but not compression. I dint like compression socks, and these are tight, but not too tight.

Great for walking all day at work as well

I walk approximately 10 miles a day at work, in a manufacturing setting. On concrete with steel toe shoes. My feet have been begging me to change from the socks that I have worn for years. I have worn these other name brand socks for probably 10 years. So, change was obviously something I had to be pushed into. I got on Amazon and searched for training socks. I read the description. Glanced at the reviews. I decided to move forward with purchasing these. I could not have been happier. My feet began feeling better immediately. And the priced was very reasonible.
