SHE'S NOT THERE Illustrated lyricI have completed a few art projects connected to the brilliant classic 1960's band The Zombies. Here is one of them: I asked Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Chris White to write out specific lines from songs they wrote for The Zombies to use in collages I made to accompany copies of their handwritten lyrics. I made images for a series of songs including the 12 songs of their classic album 'Odessey and Oracle' and 12 others chosen from various eras.

I have completed a few art projects connected to the brilliant classic 1960's band The Zombies. Here is one of them:

I asked Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Chris White to write out specific lines from songs they wrote for The Zombies to use in collages I made to accompany copies of their handwritten lyrics. I made images for a series of songs including the 12 songs of their classic album 'Odessey and Oracle' and 12 others chosen from various eras. 

This one is She's Not There by Rod Argent - a single in 1964 on the Begin Here album, 1965. This song has been covered by hundreds of artists and has one of the most recognisable intros ever.

The original image is made with fabrics, cards and found objects

There are a total of 24 different song images printed onto Arena Milk 300 gsm A3 paper.
