A limited edition of 8 - each cover cut from the same length of underprint cloth, each one slightly different from the next, yet all unmistakably part of the same story. Grouped together they are extraordinary. Individually they are each entirely their own.

These underprints are created when  ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals a soft, impressionistic surface - pale sage-green and cream botanical ground with layered washes of coral-red, dusty rose, olive, soft yellow and blue-grey drifting through like a garden seen through gauze. No two covers land the same way. That is the point.

The Blue Iris linen-cotton backing grounds the soft, painterly front with a deep, cool denim tone. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover on all four edges.

Ethically handcrafted in India. Designed in Aotearoa. Dry clean only.
