Mollydooker Carnival of Love Shiraz 2022 is as life should be — a place where everyone wants to be, and no one wants to leave. A vibrant and expressive single vineyard McLaren Vale Shiraz from the Gateway Vineyard, opening with raspberry and cherry scents and a touch of aniseed spice; rich red fruit, hints of coffee, coconut, and deeper plum flavours on the palate; chocolate and spice adding extra dimensions to a wine that is as generous, joyful, and celebratory as its name suggests. Tasting Notes
Appearance
Deep, vibrant ruby — the rich, expressive colour of a single vineyard McLaren Vale Shiraz from the Gateway Vineyard, with the depth and intensity that Mollydooker’s signature winemaking style and the warmth of McLaren Vale deliver.
Aroma
Vibrant and expressive — raspberry and cherry scents with a touch of aniseed spice, the inviting, generous, and distinctly McLaren Vale bouquet of a Shiraz crafted to celebrate. A carnival of aromas that draws you in and keeps you there.
Palate
Rich and generous — red fruit, hints of coffee, coconut, and deeper plum flavours, with chocolate and spice adding extra dimensions to a palate that is as joyful and celebratory as the Carnival of Love itself. A delightful McLaren Vale Shiraz of genuine character and warmth.
Pairs With
A natural companion for slow-roasted lamb, grilled beef, rich pasta, aged hard cheeses, and any occasion that calls for a wine of genuine generosity and celebration — Mollydooker Carnival of Love is the wine for the moments in life that deserve to be savoured. A place where everyone wants to be, and no one wants to leave.
Finish
Long, warm, and deeply satisfying — the chocolate, spice, and plum lingering together in a rich, generous close that makes every glass feel like a celebration worth repeating.
