Venofix® A Venipuncture Needle

Venofix is a sterile venipuncture cannula with lock connection from B.Braun in the familiar butterfly shape. The cannula is made of high-quality chrome-nickel steel and a microsiliconised precision cut ensures particularly good application for short-term infusion and injection treatments. As the venipuncture needle is latex-free, it is also perfectly suitable for patients with latex allergies. The B. Braun Venofix venipuncture cannula is packaged in a pack of 50, which are individually wrapped and sterile.

The flexible, interlocking wings of the venipuncture cannula are colour-coded according to size. This colour coding of sizes (grey, orange, blue, green and ivory) allows you to quickly find the appropriate cannula size. The recessed grips on the wings are used for optimal puncture and fixation of the cannula. This makes the B. Braun Venofix venipuncture sets easy to handle and quick to fix. Even in the case of delicate and barely visible veins, Venofix venipuncture needles are ideally suited for blood sampling, infusion, injection or transfusion thanks to their fine grinding.

The 30 cm length of tubing that comes with the venipuncture set has good retractability and is flexible, but at the same time kink-resistant, giving you a comfortable working distance from the patient when puncturing for a short infusion.
