When cast, the V-Swim sinks with the helpless dying flutter of an injured baitfish. When retrieved with the traditional rod sweep retrieve , the V-Swim has a remarkable side to side swing. When a straight retrieve is used, there is a more controlled wobble. The V-Swim is also made to be trolled at higher speeds up to 8 knots.
