Star Wars Legion: Emperor Palpatine Commander Expansion Star Wars is almost a cultural rite of passage. Parents remember it fondly and enjoy introducing their children to the 'proper' films and ignoring some of the newer entries. It makes excellent fodder for board games and a number have been released. Most successful of these is arguably X-Wing. The dog fighting game set in a galaxy far far away. Legions takes this intergalactic war to the surface as you pit the rebel scum against the Empire! Of course Star Wars is full of vehicles that don't fly around space and Legions allows you mess around in AT-AT, AT-ST and SATs exams. (Maybe not the last one). This is a serious game of warfare and it's worth noting that the minis in the game come unassembled and unpainted. They are designed to fit together well and will only need a bit of superglue. Once you have assembled your forces you them need to assemble your force adding in troopers, vehicles, and of course, characters from the epic film series. Just as they should, characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader can change the course of the battle, if used to their strengths! The rule set governs command in an intuitive way and allows for fog of war and moments of chaos as a real laser battle would no doubt descend into! Unlimited power comes to Legion in the form of the Emperor Palpatine commander! Lead the Imperials to victory with the easy to assemble miniature. Also in the box are three upgrade cards and three command cards to help you control the battle. Player count: 2 Time: 60-120 minutes Age rating: 14+
