A handsome late 18th century French Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition period cherrywood buffet handcrafted by skilled artisans near Lyon during the French Transition period (1750-1775), having a rectangular plank top with canted corners sitting above a single drawer with brass shield shaped escutcheon over two paneled and moulded doors that open to reveal ample storage with a single shelf. The shaped, carved apron raised on short carved feet is typical of Louis XV style, in contrast with the carved panel doors that are typical of Louis XVI pieces. This French provincial buffet with it's narrow depth is a very versatile piece and is perfect for a dining room, foyer, hallway, or as a TV cabinet. A stunning solid and sturdy piece with a beautiful, rich patina that comes with centuries of age.

Most Transition period pieces were created outside Paris by Provincial cabinet makers and combined design elements used during Louis XV's reign (1723-1774) with Louis XVI (1774-1792) motifs in the same piece. When Louis XVI assumed the throne in 1774 after his father's death, Rococo tendencies and Baroque excess were no longer popular and a movement was underway that favored the clean, straight lines of the neoclassical style.

Great divider. Provides just enough privacy from my colleague in the office across from me (and vice versa). Easy to set up and sturdy. Worth the price IMO.

Perfect Divider Wall!
Color: Iron, Color: Iron
This Divider Wall is perfect for creating a private and organized space! The sleek black design blends seamlessly into my room, and the build quality is excellent. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, standing firmly on the floor without wobbling. I use it to separate my desk area from my bed, and it makes the room feel more functional and professional. Highly recommended for anyone looking to divide their space efficiently while maintaining a modern aesthetic!

Great for separation and stands on its on without issues.

Nice panel! But ... if you plan to use as a bulletin board, not great. We are going to place styrofoam in between to see if can get things to stay in place. We homeschool and it keeps our grands from distracting each other.

Provides privacy without being stanoffish
Color: Steel, Color: Steel
Its a perfect way to get a lil bit of privacy, its the color steel. Its a little darker than the picture but it works. Free standing doesn't attach to furniture and takes maybe 10 mins to put together. It's about 5 feet tall. Very lightweight cover slides over the steel frame and zips st the bottom.
