Sometimes the messiest, and least pleasant part of caring for a pet- cleaning up their waste- is forgotten about when people think of giving to a rescue. However,  resources for pet waste and hygiene are vital for shelters. Financial resources are primarily dedicated to providing food and shelter and often little is left over for other needs. 

These kits are vital in keeping the shelter clean and providing a sanitary, safe place for each pet to reside in. These pets deserve a clean space to sleep, play and eat as they await their forever family.

Supplies will also be used for the transportation of pets to a safe place after being rescued. Supplies will also be sent with pets that are in temporary foster homes until they can be moved to a more secure location.

The Throne:

The Loo: 

This pack contains a litter box, a litter scoop, and a pack of disposable litter boxes. Perfect for keeping kennels, cages, and shelters clean these supplies will help cats and kittens immensely.

The John:

Containing a litter box, litter scoop, a disposable prefilled litter box and a box of disposable gloves. These supplies will ensure a clean space for cats and a safe way for shelter workers to clean up after the pets do their "business".

The Poopsie Pack:

This pack sends so many goodies for pets that their "bathroom" needs will be taken care of for quite a while! This packs sends a litter box, litter scoop, a box of disposable gloves, a pack of disposable litter boxes, and disposable pre-filled litter pan and a pack of puppy pads for our dog friends.

Stories: 

In the middle of winter, fighting the elements, fighting for life, huddled a small family - A mom and her 3 tiny babies. Sweet Willow, tucked her puppies away in a small opening in the trunk of a tree while temperatures were close to freezing! When they were finally discovered by a family passing by. They were quickly taken in by Pups and Promises Rescue and assessed. Spruce, Alder, and Aster (of course they needed tree themed names right?) They were then taken in by a foster family who were thankful for all the supplies including toys and pee pads. We cannot say thank you enough! Together, so many lives are saved.

Many kittens enter Save A Stray Rescue every day. This cutie cat was rescued from the streets of Long Island. Found in poor condition, full of parasites, this sweet kitten entered the rescue and after receiving medicine they got toys, treats, scratch pads and litter boxes and scoops thanks to the generous gifting of GreaterGood customers.

Who would have thought the South Florida Wildlife Center would take the litter pan donation given to them and use some of the pans as feeding bowls for raccoons! Maria Vanegas the Rehabilitation & Nursery Supervisor has this to say "These litter pans are the perfect size bowl for our groups of 6-8 raccoons rehabilitating outdoor in our nursery play pens, where our babies learn how to climb and interact with others. To provide enough food for these groups of baby raccoons, we need to use larger size bowls that are washable, reusable, and practical. These litter pans are the perfect size. We strive to provide our babies with the best care at the center and get them ready to transition into our adult enclosures and eventually for release.
