Mesquite Block M1191 2.5" x 2.5" x 12.8"Mesquite Block M1191 2. 5" x 2. 5" x 12. 8" 2. 6 lbs. This is a long end grain block of Texas Honey Mesquite. It is entirely heartwood. The grain is gently swirling and slightly inclined to the long axis of the block. There are a few scattered burl bud clusters. This block has been air dried to 10 12% moisture content. I see no cracks or checks. There is one small bug borehole visible on a face. You could turn it off or choose to fill with CA glue.
