This USAF Patch is from the 10th Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron (SAC). Activated on May 28, 1952, and was deactivated on July 1, 1958. This Squadron gathered intelligence on a global level using the RB-47E Stratojets. the unit became non-operational in January of 1958 and deactivated by July 1958. This unit has a long history of activation, deactivation, and reassignments to other units.
Looking for patches that can be used to replace lost military patches, remember days gone by, use for Halloween costumes or simply for fun, here they are. Sew-On Embroidered Emblems. Machine washable and can be put on most fabrics.
This patch came to us through a highly reputable collector who was looking to downsize his collection.
