Château Ollieux Romanis is an historic Corbiéres estate with a wine cellar built in the late 19th century, which farms organically and biodynamically. Creators of our best-selling red Lo Petit Fantet d'Hippolyte, we expect this new-to-us, critically lauded rosé to be just as popular.
Organically grown Cinsault, Grenache Noir and Grenache Gris grapes from vines ranging from 10 to 50 years old, undergo a short skin maceration. The result is a wonderfully elegant, delicate and dry rosé, which pours a pale blush, delivering aromas of fresh red fruit and a palate packed with notes of wild Mediterranean herbs, ripe strawberries and tart cherries. A classic rosé that's anything but boring - and exceptional value too.
