This Stingray Special Bass represents a contemporary evolution of the classic model, incorporating modern elements and craftsmanship to meet the demands of today's musicians. Crafted from select hardwood, the body maintains the signature Stingray shape, featuring two deep cutaways and a contoured belly for enhanced playing comfort.
The neck of this Stingray Special Bass, secured with a four-bolt plate, is constructed from roasted maple, which undergoes a specialized heating process to increase durability and minimize warping. The fingerboard, made of rosewood, boasts an 11-inch radius, 22 frets, and dot inlays, maintaining the instrument's traditional aesthetic appeal.
Fitted with a custom Music Man neodymium humbucking pickup, this bass delivers a powerful and articulate sound, characterized by rich lows and clear highs, reminiscent of classic Stingray bass tones. Its electronics feature a versatile 3-band active EQ and a single volume control.
Finished in a stunning Genius Gold gloss polyester, this iconic bass comes complete with a hardshell case for protection and portability.
